POWERGRID Karnataka Apprenticeship Educational Qualifications
- ITI Electrician: A full-time ITI in Electrician Trade.
- Diploma (Electrical/Civil): A full-time, 3-year diploma in Electrical or Civil Engineering.
- Graduate (Electrical/Civil/Computer Science/Electronics/Telecommunications): A full-time, 4-year B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. (Engg.) degree in the relevant engineering field.
- HR Executive: A 2-year full-time MBA (HR), a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management, or an equivalent degree.
- CSR Executive: A 2-year full-time Master in Social Work (MSW) or Rural Development/Management or an equivalent degree.
- Law Executive: A Graduate Degree in any discipline and a Bachelor Degree in Law (L.L.B.) (minimum 3 years professional course) OR a 5-year Integrated LLB Degree.
- PR Assistant: A 3-year full-time Bachelor of Mass Communication (BMC) / Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication (BJMC) / B.A. (Journalism & Mass Comm.) or equivalent.
- Rajbhasha Assistant: A 3-year full-time B.A. (Hindi) with proficient knowledge of the English language.
Note: Qualifications acquired through part-time, correspondence, distance education, or online modes are not eligible. Candidates must have passed their final examination within two years from the application closing date (October 6, 2025), which is between October 7, 2023, and October 6, 2025.
POWERGRID Karnataka Apprenticeship Age Limit
The minimum age for applicants is 18 years old as of the application date.
Candidates are not eligible for the apprenticeship if they:
- Are awaiting their final examination results.
- Have not completed 18 years of age.
- Have already undergone or are currently undergoing any apprenticeship training.
- Have more than one year of job experience.

POWERGRID Karnataka Apprenticeship Application Process
Application Steps:
- Step 1: Register on the NAPS or NATS website, depending on your trade.
- Step 2: Apply online through the official POWERGRID website.
Important Points:
- Applications must be submitted online only.
- There are no application fees, written exams, or interviews.
- Applicants must be Indian citizens and at least 18 years old.
- You are advised to apply for only one region/state/trade.
Disqualification:
- Providing false information or incomplete documents will lead to disqualification.
- Having already undergone or currently undergoing an apprenticeship, or having more than one year of job experience, makes you ineligible.
