Selection Process – KEA Recruitment 2025
The selection process for KEA Kalyana Karnataka cadre recruitment will be carried out through a competitive examination followed by document verification.
- Written Examination (Offline OMR):
- All posts will have a competitive test consisting of General Studies, Kannada, English, Computer Knowledge, and Subject-specific papers depending on the post.
- The exam will be held at district centres across Karnataka.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: Candidates must score at least 35% overall to be considered eligible. For KKRTC Conductor posts, the minimum qualifying marks is 30%.
- Negative Marking: For each wrong answer, ¼ mark will be deducted.
- Special Rule for KKRTC Conductor Posts:
- Selection will be based on 75% weightage from OMR exam marks and 25% from qualifying exam marks.
- Candidates will also need to satisfy physical standards (minimum height requirements) and hold a valid Conductor License & Badge.
- Document Verification:
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for original document verification.
- Candidates must produce educational certificates, caste/reservation certificates (in prescribed format), 371J Local Person certificate (for KK reservation), and other relevant documents.
- Final Selection:
- The final merit list will be prepared based on exam performance + reservation rules.
- Only candidates who pass the Kannada language test (if applicable) and meet eligibility conditions will be considered.
