Konkan Railway Recruitment:The Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL), a public sector undertaking of the Government of India, has released a notification for the recruitment of 80 technical posts on a fixed-term contract basis.The positions are available in the Electrical / Projects Department for an initial term of three years. The recruitment will be conducted through walk-in interviews scheduled for September 2025

Konkan Railway Recruitment Monthly Remuneration Details

• The consolidated remuneration is inclusive of Basic pay, DA, HRA, Conveyance, Mobile Allowance, etc..
• The annual remuneration will increase by 4% of the consolidated pay after the completion of each year, subject to project requirements and the discretion of the Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd.

Konkan Railway Recruitment Age Limit

• Assistant Electrical Engineer: 45 years.
• Sr. Technical Assistant / Electrical: 45 years.
• Jr. Technical Assistant / Electrical: 35 years.
• Technical Assistant / Electrical: 35 years.

Please note that the age limit is to be calculated as of August 1, 2025. An age relaxation of 5 years is applicable for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates.

Selection Process:

The primary mode of selection is a

Walk-in Interview.

• Candidates must arrive at the venue on the scheduled date and register with a KRCL official between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM. The venue for all interviews is:
• Executive Club, Konkan Rail Vihar Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd., Near Railway Station, Sector-40, Seawoods (West), Navi Mumbai, After registration, there will be a

1. preliminary screening of the applications submitted. Only candidates who are found to be provisionally eligible will be interviewed.
2. Depending on the number of applicants, KRCL may conduct an elimination round, such as a Group Discussion (GD) or a written test. Only candidates who clear this round will proceed to the interview stage.
3. A nominated committee will interview the eligible candidates.

The final selection and the merit list will be based on the candidate’s performance in the interview, qualifications, and post-qualification experience. The committee’s decision will be final.

Interested candidates should report directly to the interview venue on the scheduled date. They must bring a completed application form (as per Annexure-A), along with original certificates and one set of self-attested copies of all required documents
