IOB Apprenticeship Jobs in Karnataka Eligibility Criteria and Application Fee:
- To be eligible, a candidate must be a citizen of India and have a degree in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India
- The age of the candidate should be a minimum of 20 years and a maximum of 28 years as of August 1, 2025
- Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories
- Candidates registered under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) must have had their graduation results declared between April 1, 2021, and August 1, 2025.
The application fee varies by category:
- For Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): ₹472 (including GST).
- For Female, SC, and ST candidates: ₹708 (including GST).
- For General, OBC, and EWS candidates: ₹944 (including GST).
The application fee is non-refundable.
IOB Apprenticeship Jobs in Karnataka Selection and Training:
The selection process includes an online examination and a local language test, where applicable, followed by a personal interaction.
The online examination is an objective test with 100 questions carrying a total of 100 marks, to be completed in 90 minutes. The test covers General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative and Reasoning Aptitude, and Computer or Subject Knowledge.
Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend that varies by location: ₹15,000 for metro areas, ₹12,000 for urban areas, and ₹10,000 for semi-urban/rural areas. A portion of the stipend (₹4,500) will be directly credited by the government to the apprentice’s bank account through a DBT mode.
It is important to note that this is an apprenticeship position, and selected candidates will
not be considered employees of Indian Overseas Bank. The bank has no obligation to offer regular employment after the completion of the apprenticeship period.

Find the Advertisement: On either website, find the “Engagement of Apprentices under Apprentices Act, 1961 FY 2025-26” advertisement. Read the detailed advertisement carefully to ensure you meet all the eligibility criteria.
Complete NATS/NAPS Registration: You must have a NATS or NAPS enrolment number before applying for the IOB program.
- NATS: If you are registered on the NATS portal, log in and apply for the apprenticeship by selecting “Apply against advertised vacancies”.
- NAPS: If you are registered on the NAPS portal, go to the “Apprenticeship Opportunity” section and search for “Indian Overseas Bank” to apply.
Fill the Online Application: Fill out the online application form for the “IOB Apprenticeship Program FY 2025-26”.
