HESCOM Recruitment Apprenticeship Age Limit

The age limit for the HESCOM apprenticeship program will be as per the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992. The Apprenticeship Act, 1961 states that a person must be at least 14 years old to be engaged as an apprentice, or 18 years old for trades in hazardous industries. There is generally no upper age limit, but some schemes, such as the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS), suggest an upper age limit of 35 years at the time of registration. The HESCOM notification does not specify a maximum age, instead referring to these rules.

HESCOM Recruitment Apprenticeship Application Process

The application must be submitted online through the National Web Portal, NATS 1.0, or NATS 2.0.

• For Students Already Enrolled: Log in to the NATS portal, complete your application form, and then search for “Hubli Electricity Supply Company” under “Apply against advertised vacancies”. Click “apply” to submit your application.
• For Fresh Students: First, register on the NATS portal to complete your application form. After receiving your unique 12-digit enrollment number, log in and follow the same steps as above to apply for the vacancy.

• Training & Eligibility: This is a one-year apprenticeship training program for B.E./B.Tech and Diploma holders in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• No Prior Experience: Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training, or have one year of work experience, are not eligible to apply.
• Stipend: Selected B.E. graduates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹9,000, while Diploma holders will receive ₹8,000.
• No Guaranteed Job: The apprenticeship training does not guarantee permanent employment at HESCOM upon completion.
• Language Requirement: Candidates should have knowledge of reading and writing the Kannada language.

• Selection: Shortlisting will be based on the marks secured in your qualifying examinations. The list of shortlisted candidates will be posted on the HESCOM and NATS websites and you will be notified via email.
