HESCOM Recruitment:Hubli Electricity Supply Company Limited (HESCOM), a wholly-owned Government of Karnataka undertaking, has announced a recruitment drive for the 2026-27 year. The company is looking to fill 388 positions for Trainee ITI Electricians. Selected candidates will undergo a one-year apprenticeship training program in accordance with the Apprentices Act of 1961.

HESCOM Recruitment Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for these trainee positions, candidates must meet the following requirements:
• Educational Qualification: Applicants must have completed a two-year ITI course in the Electrician trade and possess a National Trade Certificate (NCVT/SCVT).
• Age Limit: As of March 9, 2026, the maximum age for general candidates is 25 years. For SC/ST candidates, the maximum age limit is extended to 30 years.
• Language Proficiency: Candidates must have studied Kannada as a subject in SSLC and be able to read and write the language.
• Prior Training: Those who have already completed or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training are not eligible to apply.
HESCOM Recruitment Benefits and Stipend
Selected trainees will receive a monthly stipend of ₹9,600. The training will provide practical experience across various HESCOM divisions, including operation and maintenance, and sub-centers.
HESCOM Recruitment Application Process
The application process involves both an online registration and a physical submission of documents.
1. Portal Registration: Candidates must first register on the Government of India’s apprenticeship portal: www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.
◦ Crucial Tip: You must select “Hubli Electricity Supply Company Ltd.” as your preferred establishment on this portal.
◦ The deadline for completing this portal registration for HESCOM is March 2, 2026.
2. Physical Application: After portal registration, a physical application form (available on the HESCOM website) must be filled out and submitted.
3. Application Fee: General category candidates must pay a fee of ₹100, while SC/ST candidates pay ₹50. This must be paid via an Indian Postal Order made out to the “Accounts Officer, HESCOM, Hubballi”.
4. Submission: The completed application, along with the postal order and required documents (SSLC marks card, ITI marks card, caste certificate, etc.), must be sent to:
