Candidates must send a completed application form, preferably typed, along with two sets of documents attested by a Gazetted Officer, two recent passport-size photos, and a non-refundable Demand Draft of Rs. 1,000. The Demand Draft should be made out to “The Director, Chikkamagaluru Institute of Medical Sciences,” payable at Chikkamagaluru, and must be drawn on or after the date of the notification.
Submission Method: Applications can be sent via registered post or delivered by hand to the Director’s Office at Chikkamagaluru Institute of Medical Sciences, Teguru village, Chikkamagaluru-577133. The post and department you are applying for should be clearly written on the envelope in block letters.

CIMS Recruitment Chikkamagaluru Eligibility Criteria:
Qualification: Candidates must have an MD/MS/DNB in the relevant subject.
Experience: A minimum of one year of experience as a Senior Resident in a recognized medical college after acquiring the MD/MS degree is required.
Age Limit: The maximum age is 38 for GM, 41 for OBC, and 43 for SC/ST candidates.

A total of 31 Assistant Professor positions are available across 15 different departments. The number of posts may be increased or decreased at the discretion of the appointing authority.

Salary:
Salary: The consolidated monthly salary for Assistant Professors is Rs. 81,250
, with additional ABARK incentives where applicable.
Important Notes:
- This is a contract position and will not be considered for regularization.
- Candidates currently employed in government or government organizations must provide a “No Objection Certificate” (NOC).
- Candidates with a DNB qualification must meet the teaching experience equivalence criteria as specified by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
