Bombay High Court Recruitment 2025:The Bombay High Court has released an official notification inviting applications for the post of Personal Assistant to the Hon’ble Judges. This recruitment is being conducted at the Principal Seat in Bombay, with the objective of preparing a Select List of 35 candidates and a Wait List of 9 candidates. Both lists will remain valid for two years.

Bombay High Court Recruitment Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered for the Personal Assistant post, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Age Limit: Minimum 21 to 38 years. The upper age limit varies by category, with relaxation available up to 43 years for reserved categories.
- Educational Qualification: A university degree is mandatory. Experienced stenographers may be considered under specific conditions.
- Skill Requirements:
- English Shorthand – minimum 120 words per minute
- English Typing – minimum 50 words per minute
- Certification in Computer Proficiency from a recognized institute
Bombay High Court Recruitment Selection Process:
The recruitment examination will be conducted in three stages, each carrying minimum qualifying standards:
- Shorthand Test – Dictation followed by transcription
- Typing Test – Practical typing assessment
- Viva-Voce – Personal interview for shortlisted candidates
Candidates must pass each stage in sequence to progress to the next.
Bombay High Court Recruitment Application Process:
- The application procedure is strictly online through the official website of the Bombay High Court.
- Applicants must upload scanned copies of their photograph and signature, along with accurate personal and educational details.
- A non-refundable fee of ₹1000 is to be paid only via SBI Collect.
- No offline or alternative submission methods will be accepted.
Any incorrect or misleading information will result in disqualification at any stage. Candidates already employed in government or court service are required to submit a No Objection Certificate.
Salary and Benefits:
The position offers a pay scale under the S-23 pay matrix (₹67,700 – ₹2,08,700 plus allowances)
Service Conditions:
Selected candidates will be appointed on probation for two years, subject to satisfactory medical and police verification.
The role involves working hours from 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with possible extensions or work on holidays depending on judicial requirements.
Transfers are not permitted for the first five years of service.
