- Application Mode
- Applications must be submitted only through online mode.

- Steps to Apply
- Open KEA official website and click on the Recruitment Link.
- Select the desired post(s) and fill in the application form carefully.
- Upload the required documents:
- Recent passport-size photograph (50 KB – 200 KB, JPEG format).
- Candidate’s signature in black ink (50 KB – 70 KB, JPEG format).
- Valid certificates (caste, reservation, rural, Kannada medium, disability, etc. if applicable).
- Pay the application fee through online payment gateway (Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI).
- Once submitted, take a printout of the application form & fee receipt and keep it safe for future reference.

Selection Process
1. Competitive Examination (Offline – OMR)
- All candidates must appear for a written test conducted by KEA.
- The exam will have two papers (depending on the post):
- Paper 1 (General Knowledge & Aptitude) → 100/300 Marks, 2 hours.
- Paper 2 (Specific Paper / Subject) → 100/300 Marks, 2 hours.
- Negative Marking: ¼ mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
- Qualifying Marks:
- General: Minimum 35%
- NWKRTC/KKRTC posts: Minimum 30%
2. Kannada Language Test (Mandatory)
- Applicable to candidates who did not study Kannada in SSLC/PUC.
- Multiple Choice Test, 150 Marks, need 50 Marks minimum to qualify.
- Marks are not considered for merit, but qualifying is compulsory.
- Exemption:
- If studied Kannada as 1st or 2nd language in SSLC/PUC.
- If already passed Kannada test by KEA/KPSC.
3. Special Posts Selection
- KKRTC & NWKRTC (Assistant Traffic Inspector, Administrator, Assistant Accounts Officer):
- Selection = 75% Written Test Marks + 25% Educational Qualification Marks.
- Shortlisted candidates must also pass Physical Standard Test (PST) (height/weight).
4. Document Verification
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for certificate verification.
- Must produce original certificates (Education, Age, Caste, Reservation, Rural, PwD, Widow, Service Experience etc.).
5. Final Merit List
- Prepared based on written exam performance + eligibility conditions + reservation rules.
- For KKRTC/NWKRTC special posts → combined weightage (exam + qualification).
- Merit list handed over to the respective Departments/Corporations for final appointment.
